Why study CAMS

Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills equips candidates with skills and competencies to provide basic accounting and management services to non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and public sector entities.

COURSE TITLE Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills
ENTRY GRADE   *  KCSE mean grade D+ or its equivalent

*  (O level) certificate with an aggregate average of at least grade C+ provided the applicant has obtained a minimum of grade C+ (or equivalent) in both English and Mathematics i.e KCSE C+
*  Advanced education (A level) certificate with at least two principal passes provided that the applicant has credits in Mathematics and English at secondary education level
*  IGCSE C in 6 papers with C in both English and Mathematics
*  KASNEB technician or professional examination certificate.
*  A degree from a recognized University.
*  Such other certificates or diplomas as may be approved by the Board of KASNEB
*  Ongoing Degree students in Bcom/BBA/BBOM etc

DURATION two levels with four (4) papers in Level I and three (3) papers in Level II, making a total of seven (7) papers,

        CM11 Principles of Entrepreneurship and Management
        CM12 Introduction to Law and Ethics
        CM13 Fundamental ICT Skills
        CM14 Fundamentals of Business Mathematics

Level II

        CM21 Foundations of Accounting and Auditing
        CM22 Elements of Public Finance and Administration
        CM23 Principles of Marketing and Communication
